چکیده

Agricultural practices depend mainly on the use of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, and herbicides which have caused serious health hazards also contributed to pollution environment at large. The application plant-beneficial rhizobacteria in agrarian has become paramount increasing soil fertility, promoting plant growth, ensuring food safety, crop production ensure sustainable agriculture. Beneficial are microorganisms that eco-friendly serve as a modern method improving yield, protecting fertility pose no harm humans environment. This approach requires beneficial with growth-promoting traits can improve nutrient uptake, enhance resistance plants abiotic biotic stress, protect against pathogenic promote growth yield. review article highlighted multitasking roles employ production, bioremediation, providing defence plants, maintaining fertility. knowledge acquired from this will help understanding bases importance agricultural sustainability an alternative agrochemicals.

Role of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria in Agricultural Sustainability-A Review.

Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) shows an important role in the sustainable agriculture industry. The increasing demand for crop production with a significant reduction of synthetic chemical fertilizers and pesticides use is a big challenge nowadays. The use of PGPR has been proven to be an environmentally sound way of increasing crop yields by facilitating plant growth through eithe...

Analysis of genes contributing to plant-beneficial functions in plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria and related Proteobacteria

The positive effects of root-colonizing bacteria cooperating with plants lead to improved growth and/or health of their eukaryotic hosts. Some of these Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) display several plant-beneficial properties, suggesting that the accumulation of the corresponding genes could have been selected in these bacteria. Here, this issue was targeted using 23 genes contrib...

Agricultural sustainability

Agriculture began in the eastern Mediterranean Levantine Corridor about 11 000 years ago toward the end of the Younger Dryas when aridity had diminished wild food resources. During the subsequent Climatic Optimum, agricultural villages spread rapidly but subsequent climatic changes on centennial to millennial scales resulted in striking 5 oscillations in settlement, especially in marginal areas...

The transition to agricultural sustainability.

The transition to sustainable growth in agricultural production during the 21st century will take place within the context of a transition to a stable population and a possible transition to a stable level of material consumption. If the world fails to successfully navigate a transition to sustainable growth in agricultural production, the failure will be due more to a failure in the area of in...
